Ready, Set, GO

A few weeks ago, I was working myself to death in Illinois. Working guard camp after guard camp - doing work I loved with people I loved. My life was filled with music, choreography ideas, and high-intensity Midwestern marching bands. Sprinkled here and there with working at the wine shop. Now, I'm here in Oregon, searching for a job and going slightly crazy with all of the free time I have. So, I'm taking Patrick's advice and starting a blog. I might as well put my journalism degree to work, right?

I'm not going through some huge, interesting life experience. I'm not experiencing the culture shock from visiting another country, or moving to a strange town. But a move from Chicago to Salem, OR is a pretty big change, so I figure it can't hurt to write about it.
